We are of the Methodist tradition. We trace our roots back to John Wesley and early Methodism. We are Wesleyan/Arminian in doctrine, believing in the free will of each individual and the possibility of salvation for all.

We are a holiness church. We believe that the salvation of God goes beyond the forgiveness of sins, to a state of total reformation of the sinful nature of mankind. We believe, by the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit, that anyone who seeks this grace, can love God with their entire heart, mind and soul, in total consecration to His will.

We are Evangelical. By this we mean our faith aligns with certain basic positions including:

1. We believe God is one, yet is expressed in three distinct entities; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe in the historic existence of Jesus Chris.  That He is the only true Son of God, that He died for our sins, and was resurrected from the dead, and now dwells with the Father in intercession for the Church until his return to earth.

3. We believe the Bible is the only true word of God, infallible as a final authority in the matters of the Christian faith.

4. We believe that all of mankind is in need of salvation which can only be obtained by a personal acceptance of forgiveness by faith in Jesus Christ.

5. We believe the mark of salvation is evidenced in the believer by the Holy Spirit and a moral and ethical lifestyle which reflects the personhood of Jesus Christ.

6. We believe our foremost responsibility before God is to share the good news of salvation with all of mankind.

7. We are a part of the Wesleyan denomination. View the Wesleyan Articles of Faith.
