Darrow Road Wesleyan Church Adult Ministries
Darrow Road Wesleyan church feels it is
important for our members to be connected in small
groups for fellowship and faith building. Throughout the week,
there are several small groups scheduled in various locations, each
studying a different portion of the Bible. To find a study near you,
contact the church office at 715-394-4401.
Darrow Road Wesleyan Church has an active men’s fellowship and study group. Led by Tom Boustead, the group meets at the church every other Saturday morning at 7 am for Breakfast and study. New members are always welcome. They are currently studying Soul Shift: The measure of a life transformed.
We want to be different, but we don't want to change. Our attempts
at spiritual formation and growth are consistently sabotaged by our
surface efforts that never quite get to the root of the problem. We
think we know what we're supposed to do, but we're not quite sure
who we're supposed to be on the other side of transformation.
In
SoulShift, Steve DeNeff and
David Drury offer an approach to spiritual transformation that
focuses less on measuring how much time we are spending on spiritual
inputs--such as Bible study and prayer--and more on measuring who we
are becoming in Christ.
Christians at any stage of life will experience a fresh beginning in
following Jesus. You will learn about seven key transformational
shifts that occur in the minds, hearts, and behaviors of every true
follower of Christ.
All men are welcome, Start your Saturday with fellowship, breakfast
and discussion.
Women of the Word (WOW) are the backbone of the
church. They meet to plan various events, Harvest Supper, Fall Bazaar,
Quarter Ladies Teas. WOW also provides compassion and service to those
who have lost a loved one, as well as welcoming new members into the
family. New members are always welcome. Moneys raised at the various WOW
events go to further the ministries at Darrow Road.
