April 15 – Hebrews 13:7-25

  1. How is the way we treat those in authority over us a reflection of how our relationship with God is going?
  2. What is the difference between submission and obedience out of fear versus out or respect?
  3. Are we more concerned with the approval of the world or the way of the cross?

April 16 – Joshua 1:1-18

  1. What does it mean to be strong and courageous?
  2. How well do we not only learn about God’s ways and His promises, but also keep them?
  3. Are we more concerned with being successful in the eyes of the world or in the eyes of God; what is the difference?

April 17 – 1 Samuel 7:2-17

  1. When we are focused on God, do our battles go differently?
  2. What are those things that we give the more or the same importance to as God?
  3. What do we need to do to put those things back in their proper place or to get rid of them completely?

 

April 18 – 1 Samuel 8:1-22

  1. How often do we admit to contributing to or making situations worse by our words or actions?
  2. How is being like everyone else not what it’s cracked up to be or what God has called us to do?
  3. Do we become a slave to what we want or value the most, even to our own detriment?

April 19 – 1 Samuel 9:15-10:1

  1. How important is humility not only in leadership but also in life in general?
  2. Does God always give us what we want even though it may not be the best option for us?
  3. How often do we miss the point when God is trying to get our attention?

April 20 – 1 Samuel 10:9-27

  1. How often do we questions and distrust the leadership of those over us?
  2. How often do we hide so we can avoid our responsibilities or what God has called us to do?

April 21 – 2 Chronicles 1:2-13

  1. Can we tell what one’s intentions are by what they ask for?
  2. Is the goal of leadership self-glorification or to empower the people God has entrusted to us?
