   Do we think that God will condemn us no matter what we do?

   How does faith require action and even some discomfort?

August 18 – 1 Kings 18:16-24

   Why can’t we worship both God and popular culture at the same time?

   Are we willing to live out our faith, even if we are the only ones doing it?

   How does abandoning God’s truth lead to trouble and despair?

August 19 – 1 Kings 18:25-29

   Do we ever try to manipulate God for our own purpose?

   How often do our words and actions fall on deaf ears or to a god that does not exist?

August 20 – 1 Kings 18:30-39

   How does our faith require a public declaration?

   Is God more concerned with our words and actions or our relationship status with Him?

   How does faith make room for God to show up and to do His thing?

August 21 – 1 Kings 18:40-46

   Does having faith mean we get what we prayed for immediately, or do we have to keep at it?

   How often do we miss the small blessings of God because we are looking for the big ones?

August 22 – Malachi 4:1-6

   How does righteousness bring both justice and judgement?

   How does mismanagement of our spiritual health lead to pain and destruction?

   How is faith the opposite of arrogance?
