Are we more concerned for our own gain or to glorify God?

How does this passage show that God’s plan of salvation was not just made up, but was planned out since the beginning of time?

If God never breaks His promises, why do we have a hard time trusting Him?

How is God’s might, power and love shown with the birth of His Son?

Should the forgiveness of our sins lead to life change? If not, why?

How does God reveal our intentions, especially the ones we like to keep a secret?

December 14- Matthew 5:3-12

How are the Beatitudes the summary of the Christian faith?

How counter cultural are the Beatitudes to the American way of life?

What does it mean to be blessed?

 

December 15- Isaiah 9:2-7

Just because we see the great light, can we still avoid it and live in our sin and stupidity?

Does our sin not only cause a separation between God and us, but also does it lead to some sort of physical/emotional oppression?

If Jesus is a wonderful counselor, do we just seek Him for advice and then go about doing our own thing?

 

December 16 – 2 Corinthians 5:16-20

What does it mean to be reconciled?

What does it mean to be Christ ambassadors?

If we are a new creation, why do we still want to live in our sin?

Is how we treat others more about who they are as people, or who we are and our    relationship with God?
