June 3 – Exodus 4:1-5; 7:8-13

  1. How often do we cheapen God’s miracles by trying to explain them?
  2. What is our response when we see a miracle?
  3. What is the purpose of miracles in general?
  4. Can we really walk away from God after seeing Him work?

June 4 – 1 Samuel 17:38-50

  1. Do we have more faith in our own ability, or in what God can do through us?
  2. How often is God’s way of doing things not the same as the world’s way?
  3. Are we more interested in defending ourselves/others or in letting God work through us?

June 5 – Luke 21:1-4

  1. Can we give something great without it being a sacrifice?
  2. What is the difference between giving out of our abundance and sacrificial giving?
  3. What are those things God is calling us to give as an offering that we are holding too tightly?

June 6 – John 6:1-15

  1. How does being pragmatic lead to our demise sometimes?
  2. Are we willing to give God all we have, no matter the size or the worth?
  3. Do we consider Jesus a good teacher or the Son of God?

June 7 – John 12:1-8

  1. Was Judas’ comment really about serving the poor or about serving self?
  2. Are we really much different than Judas?
  3. Do we give our all out of a sense of pride and arrogance, or a sense of humility and grace?

June 8 – Matthew 25:1-13

  1. How often are we prepared for God to show up, or are we distracted by other things?
  2. Do we ever blame others for our not being prepared?

June 9 – Matthew 26:47-54

  1. Do we live and respond to life by our rules or God’s rules?
  2. What are the things we believe that we are willing to die for; and are they really worth dying for?
  3.  Does betrayal always mean that there was some sort of relationship?
