May 27 – Matthew 18:15-20

  1. When we feel that we have been wronged, do we let it fester, or do we address it as soon as possible?
  2. When addressing hurts and wrongs, how important is humility and grace?
  3. What does it mean that what we bind here on earth will also be bound in heaven?
  4. Do we share our anger and hurt with others to continue our frustration, or do we try to resolve our issues?

May 28 – Genesis 50:15-21

  1. What makes revenge so appealing?
  2. If God really allows evil things so that He can display His goodness, what does this say about His character?
  3. What is our response when we have the proverbial ‘upper hand’ on someone?

May 29 – 1 Kings 8:27-53

  1. Would we take sin more seriously if we knew the entire ramifications of our disobedience?
  2. Why are we so interested in vindicating ourselves when God does this better and freely?

May 30 – Ephesians 4:29-32

  1. How does our bitterness and coarse joking spread like wild fire to other people?
  2. How is our speech a reflection of our relationship with God and others?
  3. How is forgiveness vital for healthy relationships?

May 31 – Matthew 6:5-15

  1. Are our actions done for show, or are they based on our relationship with God?
  2. Are we more concerned with our rewards in the here and now or for eternity?
  3. If we do not forgive others; does God really not forgive us?

June 1 – Mark 11:20-25

  1. When asking for things, how important are our motives?
  2. Do we trust God to remove the barriers in our life, or do we let those barriers take root in our lives?
  3. How do faith and God’s good gifts go together?

June 2 – Luke 17:1-4

  1. Are temptation and sin the same thing?
  2. Do our words, actions, or intentions cause others to sin?  If so, what do we need to change?
  3. What makes it so hard to forgive multiple times?
