November 5 – 1 Timothy 3:1-13

Are we willing to take the time and effort to grow and mature, or do we want it instantaneously?

If we are not willing to grow and mature, why do we demand growth and maturity in others?

If we are not responsible for the small stuff, how can we be trusted with more responsibility?

Is leadership about humility and service to others or about title, rank and benefits?

November 6 – Matthew 16:24-28

How can we actually gain life by losing it?

If we are to bear out cross daily, does this mean we die to ourselves and submit to God, or do we just carry a heavy piece of wood?

Are we willing to lose out on eternity so we can have a little bit of comfort now?

November 7 – Matthew 25:14-30

How is life not so much about having a bunch of stuff, but about using what we have to the best of our ability?

Is God really in the business of taking away talents that we either do not use or abuse?

How often do we need to be reminded that to whom much is given, much is expected?

November 8 – Matthew 25: 31-46

If we exclude and demonized people in this life, how much easier will it be for us to exclude them in the next life?

Can people tell who we serve by the way we treat others?

Are we willing to be judged by the same standard that we judge others?

November 9 – 2 Timothy 2:1-13

Since we tend to  become like those we hang out with and follow, is it important that we choose wisely who we follow and take advice from?

What are the things that distract us from what God has called us to do?

Can we really be called a Christ follower if we do not die to ourselves?

November 10 – James 2:14-26

What good is our faith if we do not put it into action?

Would we rather help a missionary of friend half way  around the workd rather than our neighbor next door who is struggling?

November 11- 2 Timothy 4:1-8 

Do we follow the teaching that makes us feel “warm and fuzzy”?

How often do we filter what we see and hear through what the Gospel states; or do we make the Gospel fit our own agenda?

What does it mean to be ready with an answer in any season of life?
